Job Summary
A university needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Speech Interpersonal Communications Faculty Member.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Modeling effective strategized communications that engage online students
- Using appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software
- Developing and providing students with an approved syllabus which includes the terminal course objectives
Position Requirements Include:
- Solid subject matter expertise and outstanding communication skills
- 18+ earned graduate credit hours directly in the field of instruction
- A Master's or PhD degree in Speech, Communications, Rhetoric, or closely related field
- Excellent motivational and instructional skills to be effective in a non-traditional environment
- Must be able to work in a collegial manner and facilitate the efforts of diverse groups
