Job Summary
A higher education university is filling a position for a Remote Sponsored Finance Specialist.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being responsible for the review of sponsored project agreements and activities
- Work closely with the Office of Sponsored Programs Grant and Contract Officers
- Provide a wide variety of non-standard responses to a wide range federal, state, university, corporate and non-profit sponsors
Skills and Requirements Include:
- An associate’s degree, preferably in business or accounting/finance
- 2 – 4 years of accounting related experience and/or 4 or more years of finance related experience
- Proficiency in PC systems: Excel, Word, E-mail, Query and Analysis tools, and more is required
- Experience with Kuali Financial System and Oracle Analytic Server is valuable
- Certified Financial Research Administrator (CFRA) is preferred
