Job Summary
New sports memorabilia company seeks a sports writer/blogger for their new website/blog.
--Should be a sports enthusiast, starting out the focus will be on soccer but will grow from there to other sports, celebrities and entertainment
--Writing 1-2 blogs a week with a focus on the most current sports highlights recent games, player transfers, world cup 2020 etc.
--Articles must be SEO optimized to maximize organic traffic to site.
--Pull blurbs/highlights from content for social media content to be shared in line with blog
Previous experience/ideal qualities:
--Collaborating/working with social media/marketing teams, clients and other members to make sure focus of content is approved
--Deadline focused
--Has ideally worked with a small/startup type company
--Loves sports/entertainment
--Can offer suggestions for blogs/posts/email campaigns, potential influencers to engage with if not, can do the research to find out
--Must write in American English
