Job Summary
A logistics services company is in need of a Remote Spot Pricing Data and Strategy Director.
Must be able to:
- Lead, motivate, and continue to build a high performing spot pricing team that will help us maximize spot freight potential
- Identify potential areas of impact and leverage analytics, auction pricing, market data, algorithms, logic, and microeconomic principles
- Partner with our engineering and product teams to further develop our tech platforms and software solutions that enhance results
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bring 10+ Years of experience in pricing strategy
- At least 5 years in the freight logistics space and 3+ years of management experience
- Have operations experience, ideally within logistics
- Experience in and strong understanding of pricing & auction theory, auto-bidding logic and algorithms
