Remote Spring Data Staff Software Engineer

Job Summary

A software company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Spring Data Staff Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Participating in the specification, design, implementation, testing and maintenance of data projects
• Engaging with Field Engineers to answer questions, resolve issues, build POCs and distill feedback
• Improving existing features, performance, documentation and sample applications for Spring Data

Required Skills:

• Participate in conference speaking
• Highly proficient in Java, and must have significant experience with Java SE and Java EE
• Thorough knowledge of the core Spring Framework functionality
• Experience associated with open source Spring frameworks
• Solid understanding of concurrent programming and strong experience with API development
• Keen understanding of the trends and products in the NoSQL and Big Data areas
• Familiarity with distributed, in-memory transactional systems and concepts
• Particular knowledge and emphasis on NoSQL/IMDG technologies
