Job Summary

A software developer has an open position for a Remote Sr Software Engineer in Reston.

Must be able to:

  • Help make the transformation from a successful legacy product to a set of containerized applications
  • Deliver systems level enhancements, tuning and improvements to our core platform
  • Build tools for automation of system monitoring, configuration, and alerting

Required Skills:

  • BS in CS or equivalent technical discipline or equivalent experience where you learn basic software engineering concepts
  • 7+ years of experience in Software or Systems Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years using Linux with the ability to navigate, write scripts and work with packages
  • 5+ years of experience supporting relational and/or distributed NoSQL databases including MySQL/MariaDB and/or Scylla/Cassandra
  • Strong Linux administration skills (Red Hat variants)
  • Proven hands on experience designing, building and maintaining technology infrastructure
