Job Summary
A managed healthcare and insurance company is seeking a Remote SSM Patient Access Representative I.
Must be able to:
- Greet patients as they arrive and manages 20-minute wait time
- Assist patient with intake processes including copying required documents
- Collect co – payments, co – insurance and deductibles and issues receipts
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- High school diploma / GED (or higher)
- 1+ years of related work experience including data entry
- Working knowledge of medical office procedures and medical terminology
- Ability to accurately sort and file materials by alphabetic or numeric systems
- Effective communication and customer service skills
