Remote Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Supporting core accounting operations in a fully remote environment, the contract Remote Staff Accountant will manage journal entries, maintain general ledger accounts, and perform detailed account reconciliations while ensuring accurate financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals and reclassifications
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with high accuracy
• Analyze financial results and support monthly and year-end close processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
• Strong experience with accrual accounting and financial analysis
• Experience working in an ERP system, preferably NetSuite
• Proven ability to handle accruals and support month-end close processes
