Remote Staff Accountant
Job Summary
Supporting the day-to-day accounting operations remotely, the full-time Staff Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP while collaborating with various departments on monthly close activities and audits.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and record journal entries for month-end and year-end close while reconciling general ledger accounts
- Review vendor invoices for accuracy and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and support external audits and tax compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA certification or CPA candidate preferred
- Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting-related experience
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry preferred
- Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred
