Job Summary
A cloud communications platform as a service company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Staff Accountant.
Must be able to:
- Ensure our prepaids, accruals and other GL transactions are accurate
- Understand what improvements can be made to our processes
- Anticipate accounting impacts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2+ years in public accounting or at a fast growing company
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP, month-end close processes, operational and accounting procedures
- Ability to prioritize and work proactively and independently to meet deadlines
- Team player with strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong attention to detail
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
