Job Summary
A software company specializing in time-based data solutions is in need of a Remote Staff Accountant.
Must be able to:
- Support existing accounting procedures and internal controls and seek opportunities to improve our processes and efficiency
- Assist with technical accounting projects related to SaaS related topics and with financial audit related tasks
- Perform weekly & monthly accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable, expense reimbursements, fixed assets management, journal entries, etc
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Good understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- 1-3 years of working experience (or Accounting internship) is a plus
- Strong organizational and verbal / written English communication skills
- Strong analytical skills, high accuracy, and attention to detail
