Job Summary
A computer software company is filling a position for a Remote Staff Accountant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of accounting systems for financial transactions
- Maintaining the general ledger, recording cash receipts and financial transactions
- Preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for the monthly financial statement close
Position Requirements Include:
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting, industry or a mix of both
- Good working knowledge of US GAAP
- Strong problem solver with good analytical skills
- Proficient in excel, word, and quickbooks, but adaptable to learn new software as required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
