An insurance company has an open position for a Remote Staff Accountant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Reviewing and processing employee expense reports
- Entering and recording payable payments
- Creating recurring and adjusting journal entries
Position Requirements Include:
- 1 year Accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Accounting or Finance
- Ability to think critically, problem solve, communicate and manage task execution
- Excellent listening, organizational, multitasking and communication skills
- Ability to handle aggressive deadlines, set appropriate expectations and juggle multiple responsibilities
