Remote Staff Accountant

Job Summary

An HR technology consulting firm has an open position for a Remote Staff Accountant.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Assisting with the monthly closing process to ensure accurate and timely results that meet GAAP standards
• Preparing account reconciliations ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Preparing journal entries, research intercompany and other cost-sharing agreements

Qualifications Include:

• 5 years’ experience in accounting
• Strong experience in accounting software
• Ideal candidates will have some audit and strong data manipulation experience
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, consistently meeting deadlines and maintain confidentiality
• Solid interpersonal skills and commitment to working with a diverse staff
