UltraViolet is hiring a Staff Accountant to help us create a real cost for sexism in the U.S.

Job Description
The Staff Accountant at UltraViolet will work hand-in-hand with the Director of Finance to ensure that the day-to-day finance and accounting systems are running smoothly and efficiently for all three UltraViolet entities.
These are the required skills for this position:
2+ years of experience with general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and revenue accounting
Experience preparing journal entries and completing month-end close
Experience with online accounting software (Quicken, QuickBooks, Sage, etc)
A thorough understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles
A college degree with an accounting major or equivalent experience and on-the-job training
A commitment to UltraViolet's mission and model
We're hoping you bring some of these bonus skills:
Thorough knowledge of and proficiency with QuickBooks
Familiarity with accounting requirements for and structure of both 501(c)3 and 501(c)4 organizations and political action committees

Salary:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000, plus a home office stipend based on the cost of living in your location.
