Remote Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A non-profit animal welfare organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Staff Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Performing bank and other balance sheet account reconciliations
• Resolving accounting discrepancies
• Maintaining organized and updated supporting spreadsheets

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business accounting, or finance
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• At least three years’ professional experience in accounting
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong technology skills are critical, particularly expertise with Microsoft Excel
