Remote Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Staff Accountant.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Compiling and analyzing data to prepare journal entries for various accounts and transactions
• Maintaining and reconciling various subledgers
• Preparing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts

Position Requirements Include:

• From an regionally accredited institution; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting environment or 2+ years of public accounting experience
• Intermediate knowledge of US GAAP
• Demonstrated knowledge of a commonly used ERP/General Ledger system
• Extreme attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
