A university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Staff Accountant.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Compiling and analyzing data to prepare journal entries for various accounts and transactions
- Maintaining and reconciling various subledgers
- Preparing monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
Position Requirements Include:
- From an regionally accredited institution; Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in corporate accounting environment or 2+ years of public accounting experience
- Intermediate knowledge of US GAAP
- Demonstrated knowledge of a commonly used ERP/General Ledger system
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
