Job Summary

A software development company has an open position for a Remote Staff Accountant II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Preparing journal entries for asset, liability, and expense accounts
  • Reviewing income statement and balance sheet reports
  • Matching bank transactions in the General Ledger with appropriate related activity

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 2 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Experience with sales/property tax returns, and processing outbound bank transactions
  • Proficiency with NetSuite (or similar ERP), Excel, and Google Sheets
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • A track record for problem solving, flexibility, and urgency
