Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is filling a position for a Remote Staff Attorney.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Assisting in policy advocacy
- Maintaining relationships with public interest legal services organizations
- Publishing analyses and reports
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel will be required for organizational meetings and litigation tasks
- JD from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in at least one state or DC
- 2 years of litigation experience, including in federal court
- Exceptional analytical, writing, speaking and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to engage in effective collaborations internally and externally
- Commitment to social justice and civil rights for farmworkers and other low-wage immigrant workers
