An internet software company has an open position for a Remote Staff Backend Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Design, build and maintain the APIs that power the Mulberry platform
- Design well architected, loosely coupled modules and systems
- Improve engineering practices, documentation
Qualifications for this position include:
- 6+ years of experience working on software development teams
- Scripting languages: Python, PHP or Java
- Flask or Django framework
- Relational database design, SQL, ORMs/SQLAlchemy
- Git workflow
- Agile workflow
