Job Summary
A biotechnology company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Staff Bioinformatics Software Engineer in Redwood City.
Must be able to:
- Design and Implement algorithm software
- Conduct software design reviews
- Work with large, complex data sets
Skills and Requirements Include:
- M.Sc. or higher agree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or similar or equivalent industry experience
- 10+ Years industry experience including experience with a programming language
- Deep understanding with next generation sequencing data analysis
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Linux base environment and Bash scripting
- Hands on knowledge of docker applications and CI tools such as Jenkins
