Job Summary

A online publishing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Staff Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Design, architect, and support new and existing ETL pipelines
  • Analyze, debug and maintain critical data pipelines
  • Help define the team strategy and technical direction

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 3+ years of experience writing and optimizing complex SQL and ETL processes
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience
  • BS in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Apache Spark, Spark streaming, Kafka, Scala, Python, and similar technology stacks
