Job Summary

An e-commerce community and online marketplace is in need of a Remote Staff Payments Platform Software Engineer II.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Identifying and delivering on opportunities to improve the reliability of our Payments platform
  • Building and maintaining software
  • Working with your team on initiatives, both large and small

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Experience working on large scale, high performance and fault tolerant systems
  • The ability to turn ideas into extremely fast and reliable code
  • Familiarity with SRE practices and concepts
  • Comfortable writing application code and business logic and writing shell scripts and monitoring systems
  • Comfortable working on shared platforms as well as building out new infrastructure and managing it
