Job Summary

A software company is in need of a Remote Staff Security Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Developing and maintaining new tools and frameworks for automated testing, monitoring, and reporting
• Assisting engineers in integrating security tools and testing libraries
• Sharing team administration and maintenance responsibilities for SecOps tools

Required Skills:

• Several years of experience in a security engineering or architecture role
• Several years of experience with the development, deployment, and automation of security solutions
• Demonstrable experience with the AWS platform and major services
• Worked with CI or CD tools such as Jenkins, TravicCI, GitLab CI
• Understand the goal of DevOps philosophy and where security can integrate into it
• Competent coding skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Go
