Job Summary
A cloud infrastructure and visualization solutions provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Staff Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Writing code, designing and developing scalable software targeted to expanding our service capabilities across product portfolios
- Owning engineering initiatives and championing a culture of high ownership, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
- Producing software and service design and implementation for distributed web systems
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to design software and write code in Java, with the potential need to contribute to existing services built in C#
- Ability to implement and improve processes around DevOps, Agile, and CI/CD
- Abiliity to develop applications using Kafka, micro-services, and other cloud design patterns
- Demonstrated strong RESTful API design, including API versioning, backwards compatibility, authentication and rate limiting
- Ability to build data and orchestration platforms that span multiple services/products
- Ability to contribute to the definition and enforcement of engineering standards and best practices
