Remote State and Local Tax Senior or Manager

Job Summary

A staffing firm is seeking a Remote State and Local Tax Senior or Manager.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Managing multi-state reviews that analyze income, sales and use, ad valorem, payroll, and franchise taxes
• Conducting a primary or secondary review of complicated SALT returns
• Providing tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise to clients

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Public accounting or corporate and public accounting experience
• 3+ years experience (for senior level)
• 5+ years experience (for manager level)
• CPA or JD/LLM required for manager level
• Proficiency in US GAAP, tax compliance, corporate consolidated returns, and combined state tax returns
