Job Summary
A social media company is filling a position for a Remote Statistical Learning and Experimentation Research Scientist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Designing and prototyping new algorithms and optimization methods
- Building cross-functional relationships to shape long-term roadmaps
- Developing patent applications, white papers, and conference presentations
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- MS/MA degree with 4+ additional years of relevant experience or relevant PhD
- First-author publications at peer-reviewed conferences or disciplinary journals
- Expertise in statistics or deep learning
- Proficiency designing and implementing analytical and/or algorithmic solutions
- Expertise in Python, Julia, or R
- Proficiency in communicating analyses and establishing confidence among audiences
