Remote Strategic Finance Associate

Job Summary

An insurance company is seeking a Remote Strategic Finance Associate.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Being a strategic partner to teams across the organization to help answer complex, cross-functional questions
• Building, owning, and maintaining bottoms-up financial plan and forecast model
• Engaging with debt and equity investors to support fundraising efforts and regularly prepare materials for use

Qualifications for this position include:

• 4+ years in an analytical role at a high-growth startup or investment banking, consulting, private equity, or venture capital firm
• Highly analytical mindset and strong attention to detail; you are comfortable working with large quantities of unstructured data
• Strong communication skills and experience working directly with stakeholders across an organization to analyze problems
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment
• Strong organizational skills and are able to manage competing deadlines for various stakeholders simultaneously
• Excellent Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills and a basic understanding of SQL and / or Looker
