Job Summary
A telecommunications company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Strategic Sourcing Category Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact to assigned business units for sourcing needs
- Communicating with vendors and internal business partners to establish and maintain credibility for the sourcing function
- Structuring contracts as to pricing, performance measures and breach of contract remedies and/or termination options
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, or Project Management
- Vendor management and performance monitoring skills
- E-Procurement software skills
- Negotiations expert
