Job Summary
A networking solutions company. has an open position for a Remote Strategic Sourcing Director.
Must be able to:
- Develop an overall supplier base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage, utilizing global market exploitation
- Support ongoing planning to reflect changes in the supplier and industry landscape
- Analyze supply base, category market conditions, stakeholder requirements, pricing/market trends and competitive benchmarking
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 10-12 years managerial experience, global
- Proven track record of strong negotiation, project management & planning skills
- Fluency managing multimillion-dollar contracts of strategic importance
- Proven ability to create category strategies, monitor market trends, and build business cases for make/buy decisions
- Proven ability to scale sourcing organizations on a global level
- Great relationship manager with manufactures, vendors, customers and cross functional business leads
