Job Summary

A recognized leader in healthcare, hospitality, and government procurement services is in need of a Remote Strategic Sourcing Director in New York City.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Proactively lead and manage with cross-functional partners to effectively select suppliers, negotiate favorable contracts, and manage supplier performance and relationships
• Lead supplier partner relationships, plan and develop the marketing and sales efforts for a category of products within their purview
• Develop plans that will result in increased sales, market share and/or profitability

Position Requirements Include:

• Proven and quantifiable track record of professional achievement
• Proven and quantifiable track recordof  developing and executing plans for productive staff development
• BA/BS degree (Masters preferred)
• Multiple years of meeting or exceeding targets
• Demonstrated strong leadership, organization, planning and prioritization skills
• Ability to provide strategic guidance on brand and private brand product additions and line extensions
