Job Summary
A software company is in need of a Remote Strategic Sourcing Lead.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Establishing strong relationships with internal business stakeholders
- Creating a procurement strategy roadmap identifying a continual improvement plan over time
- Assisting with development of key procurement policies, practices and training materials
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- 2+ years leading a strategic sourcing function at a late stage technology startup
- 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing experience
- 5+ years of experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes
- 5+ years of experience with spend categories under management
- Experience working in a startup environment to address immediate tactical purchasing needs
- Knowledge of commercial agreement structures and contract terms
