Job Summary
A software technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Strategy Analytics Economist.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Leveraging proprietary and third party data to analyze different economic questions related to the contracting sector
- Developing a deep understanding of how economic conditions and external factors affect the different trades
- Analyzing current trends in the residential and commercial sectors and forecasting future market evolutions
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ph.D in Econometrics, Economics or similar quantitative discipline
- At least 5+ years of postdoctoral experience
- Previous publications in top-tier peer reviewed academic journals
- Hands on knowledge of some of the most advanced methods in econometrics, statistics, causal analysis, regression and/or forecasting
- Expertise in SQL
- Demonstrated strong coding skills in Python, R, Matlab or similar statistical language
