Job Summary
A non-profit educational support organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Student Success Coach.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Coaching students (ages 16-24) through general education courses, professional training, career & workforce development & education
- Preparing & facilitating weekly cohort sessions & bi-weekly individualized student support sessions
- Meeting virtually with students and to participate in virtual Success Coach meetings and training
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Must share the organization’s commitment to working together to improve student growth & achievement through phenomenal instruction
- 3+ years of professional experience working with first-generation and/or low-income students to promote student success
- Demonstrated experience building safe and trusting connections with 16 – 24 year old non-traditional students & adult learners
- Experience providing academic counseling/coaching, motivational interviewing or strengths-based coaching
