Job Summary

A civil engineering consulting firm has a current position open for a Remote Studies Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Performing studies utilizing PSS®E, TARA, and/or other software packages
  • Training, coaching and mentoring other engineers within the company in the area of power systems studies
  • Working with renewable project developers

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, ABET accredited program, or equivalent
  • 4+ years of working experience, with 2+ years of experience directly related to US ISO/utility grid interconnection and power flow analysis
  • Experience with PSS®E or PSLF steady-state
  • Ability to independently complete assigned tasks
  • Ability to actively manage individual workload
  • Ability to provide training and support to other engineers
