Job Summary
A media company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Subscriptions Front End Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Building reusable, user facing front-end components that are shared across other applications for rapid development and scaling to support Digital Subscriptions experiences
- Extending functionality of internal tools used by Marketing and other internal stakeholders to build/deploy site experiences to achieve company subscription goals
- Writing high-quality code with best practices and design patterns in mind and engage in code review/quality assurance
Position Requirements Include:
- Extensive experience with JavaScript and the React and/or Angular framework
- Experience writing unit, integration and end to end tests to ensure code quality
- Demonstrated keen eye for detail and love of delivering beautiful user experiences that prioritizes performance
- Experience with DevOps technologies like Docker, Jenkins, and AWS Products
- Familiarly with module bundling technologies like Webpack
- Ability to collaborate with designers to implement and extend our Design System across subscription components and their integration across company platform
