Job Summary

A food and beverage company is seeking a Remote Supplier External Manufacturing Quality Specialist in New York City.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Being responsible for finished product management
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams such
  • Ensuring all ingredients/raw materials suppliers are meeting specifications and standards

Required Skills:

  • Attend Co-Manufacturing facilities during new product launches/first production runs
  • B.S. in Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry
  • 5+ years within the Food Industry or Quality Assurance
  • Experience in a GFSI - BRC/SQF/ISO 22000 or FSSC audits with necessary certifications
  • Experience with HACCP programs & FDA/FSMA Food Safety plan requirements
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
