Job Summary
A telecommunications company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Supply Chain Manager 2.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Ensuring proper vendor selection through experience, market knowledge and formal bid evaluation
- Negotiating supplier contracts, including commercial terms of purchase to ensure all documentation is in place to protect our interests
- Serving as primary liaison between functional corporate business groups & service providers in coordinating & facilitating projects
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience
- 5 years’ experience sourcing IT Software and Hardware from OEM’s and 3rd Party providers
- Excellent negotiating skills and be familiar with contracts and contracting procedures
- Strong Computer Skills in MS Office
