Job Summary
A leader specializing in the multi-channel distribution of electrical products is in need of a Remote Sustainability Products and Solutions Category Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Negotiating national supplier programs
- Vendor planning through national supplier tier strategy implementation and maintenance
- Understanding market conditions and competitive forces to determine market share
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Engineering or related
- 5+ years of sales or operations experience within the electrical distribution or manufacturing industry
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a distributor organization to proactively implement the business plan
- Strong presentation skills in a group and individual situations
- Ability to promote the value-add of the assigned products and value proposition to customers
- Strong arbitration skills to effectively listen, communicate, and gain consensus
