Job Summary

A manufacturer of chocolate, chewing gum, mints and fruity confections is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Sustainability Senior Material Development Scientist.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Identify and drive ingredient substitution, new ingredient and other opportunities
  • Be the key contact with other regional Climate Scientist and Global R&D
  • Ensure sustainability agenda and carbon footprint goals of its products

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Degree in Animal Nutrition, Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in research and development
  • Experience in food innovation and functionality of raw materials
  • Track record in leadership & delivery of complex technical projects/programs
  • Experience in Formulation and leading Sustainability/Carbon Footprint based projects
  • Extensive experience in a technical function in FMCG R&D product, formulation, and process development
