Job Summary
A regional food economy program is in need of a Remote Sustainable Food Community Executive Director in Carnation.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Implementing the strategic plan, making updates and revisions as necessary
- Managing staff resources and administering grant funds
- Developing, expanding, and increasing the organization’s sustaining funding sources
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Working from home with occasional trips to the office is also possible
- Knowledge of vegetable and livestock or other commercial production
- Proven track-record in fundraising, including experience with grant-writing
- 3+ years experience in nonprofit management and leadershipeers
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral; strong presentation skills
- Excellent financial management skills and experience managing a complex budget
