Job Summary
A computer hardware and services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote SW Development and Configuration Services Engineering Senior Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Providing direction and overseeing development and use of tools and processes to ensure maximum efficiency and quality of the work product
- Designing, developing and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
- Influencing and negotiating with cross-functional teams
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent Business Degree
- 4 years managerial experience
- Ability to apply software lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies in a cost-effective manner to bring high-quality products to market on time
- Solid understanding of appropriate technologies, vendor products and competitor offerings
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Operating System architecture
- Strong understanding of hardware and software interactions, and able to apply this understanding to resolve issues
