Job Summary

A software company is filling a position for a Remote System Administrator in Irvine.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Migrating SQL Server on Windows production infrastructure to SQL Server on Linux
  • Collaborating with Development and DevOps/IT teams
  • Building and managing a resilient and secure infrastructure

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Experience managing PCI compliant production environments
  • Strong experience provisioning, managing, monitoring, profiling and scaling Linux servers
  • Strong experience managing, monitoring, profiling and scaling Microsoft servers
  • Strong experience with high availability SQL Server infrastructure using Availability Groups
  • Strong experience managing and creating cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of network architecture, security and troubleshooting techniques
