Job Summary

A security technology company is in need of a Remote Systems and Security Staff Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Develop functional or object-oriented software with intelligent, automated tests
• Contribute or lead product design, system analysis, debug tasks, root cause analysis, and support for assigned products
• Prepare technical documentation of complex product sub-systems, mentor and collaborate with other engineers

Qualifications Include:

• 10+ years in software development with a Computer Science degree preferred
• The ability to know if you should use OOP or functional approaches to a given problem
• C++14 or newer preferred; must be familiar with modern memory management and security concept
• Native Windows development knowledge (Win32 API, system security models
• Linux system knowledge (package management, service model, ‘the Linux way’) or macOS - Swift/Objective-C and macOS knowledge
• Python knowledge or ability to learn it quickly desired, and ability to communicate to accomplish the role in a remote environment
