Remote Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer II (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement tools and scripts for importing member end user data into systems
• Manage remote Network Utility Servers and configure DHCP and radius authentication for ISP networks
• Monitor system uptime, security, and support team members with Linux system installations and configurations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• Five (5) years of experience managing Linux server infrastructure
• Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems, DHCP, DNS, and email server applications
• Experience with virtualization technologies and automation tools
• Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator or equivalent desired
