Remote Systems Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer III for a remote role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions for managing GitHub Enterprise resources, including API interactions
• Automate the creation and configuration of GitHub Organizations and enforce policies across repositories
• Integrate GitHub with enterprise services and drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant field
• 5-7 years of experience in software development or related fields
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language, preferably Go or Python
• Experience with API design and interaction, and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Solid understanding of GitHub Enterprise features and experience with GitHub APIs and Actions
