Job Summary
A software development company is in need of a Remote Systems Engineer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Build, monitor, and maintain development and production infrastructure through automation
- Assist in troubleshooting system and application issues
- Automation of legacy infrastructure deployments, processes, and procedures
Qualifications for this position include:
- Knowledge of how CDNs work: Anycast, DNS, HTTP, TLS
- Proficient in Linux
- Basic knowledge of security fundamentals
- Solid hardware, firmware, and driver driver troubleshooting skills
- Basic Ruby and/or Python
- Ability to do shell scripting in Bash
