Job Summary
An IT and cybersecurity company has a current position open for a Remote Systems Engineer IBM i in St. Louis.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining and deploying any required operating system upgrades and PTF installations
- Providing tier-3 support for operations and applications teams where possible
- Performing Tuning and Capacity planning as required for all IBM iSeries Systems/Logical Partitions
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- In-depth knowledge of IBM i Series operating systems and all core feature sets
- Knowledge of replication software, or similar software experience, is required
- Knowledge of Help Systems tools such as Robot Scheduler, Robot Alert, or similar software is required
- Administrative level SQL query
- Ability to communicate clearly in a large enterprise environment
