Job Summary

An IT professional services firm is seeking a Remote Systems Engineer III.

Must be able to:

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the HR software
  • Identify, analyze, define and coordinate user, customer and stakeholder needs and translates them into technical requirements
  • Identify technology solutions with the potential to improve technical capabilities

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • BS in Computer Science or related field and 6 years direct experience (or 10-12 years of IT experience)
  • Three years specific experience troubleshooting and problem solving both technical and non-technical issues
  • Three years of demonstrated on-the-job experience with Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Three years of demonstrated on-the-job experience with Cloud computing infrastructures and virtual networking
  • Three years of demonstrated on-the-job experience with the creation of automation scripts for system operations and maintenance
  • Three years of experience in supporting Cloud-based software implementations of large-scale education-related systems or software
