A company that develops smartphone alternatives has an open position for a Remote Systems Engineer in Sarasota.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Being responsible for final escalation and resolution of all production server related issues
- Proactively monitoring servers and services at remote customer locations
- Completing server builds and upgrades for new implementations in close collaboration with the PMO
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Production Unix / Linux system administration experience
- Experience with automated deployment and configuration management
- Experience with VoIP telephony systems
- Experience configuring and integrating SIP/PRI Media Gateways
- Experience with telephony features such as IVRs, transcoding, caller ID, extension mobility
- Strong foundation and background with the Linux operating system and TCP/IP networking
